What This Policy Covers

This privacy policy applies to:

  • ClaimFreedom.org Website (the wiki and documentation)
  • DMN Chat (daemon.tamethedmn.com) - AI conversational guide
  • Operation: Critical Mass (tamethedemon.com) - Collective coherence game
  • Any other services hosted under claimfreedom.org domains

Information We Collect

Public Website (ClaimFreedom.org)

The main wiki is a static site with minimal tracking:

  • No cookies: We do not use tracking cookies
  • No analytics: We do not track your behavior across pages
  • Server logs: Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages accessed) for security and debugging purposes only
  • No accounts required: You can read all content without creating an account

DMN Chat (daemon.tamethedmn.com)

To use DMN Chat, you must create an account. We collect:

Account Information

  • Email address (if signing up with email)
  • Display name (optional)
  • Authentication provider (Google, GitHub, or email)
  • Account creation date
  • Last login date

Conversation Data

  • Chat messages (your questions and DMN's responses)
  • Conversation timestamps
  • Chat history (stored in your private account)
  • Voice recordings (temporarily processed for transcription, then deleted)

Automatically Collected

  • IP address (for security and abuse prevention)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type
  • Session data (to maintain login state)

Operation: Critical Mass (tamethedemon.com)

  • Anonymous by default: No account required to play single-player mode
  • Session data: Gameplay statistics for the session (not permanently stored)
  • Multiplayer events: Temporary session IDs for synchronization (deleted after event)
  • No tracking: We do not track individual players across sessions

How We Use Your Information

For DMN Chat

Your conversation data is used ONLY to:

  • Provide intelligent responses grounded in framework documentation
  • Maintain conversation context across your chat sessions
  • Improve your personal experience (journey-based guidance)
  • Store your chat history for your future reference

We do NOT:

  • ❌ Sell your data to third parties
  • ❌ Use your conversations to train AI models
  • ❌ Share your data with advertisers
  • ❌ Analyze your data for marketing purposes
  • ❌ Share your conversations with other users

For Security & Abuse Prevention

We may use IP addresses and session data to:

  • Prevent spam and abuse
  • Enforce rate limits
  • Detect and prevent unauthorized access
  • Comply with legal obligations (if required by law)

Data Storage & Security

Where Your Data Is Stored

  • DMN Chat: Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) - data centers in the United States
  • Website: Cloudflare Pages - globally distributed CDN
  • Operation: Critical Mass: Cloudflare Workers - edge computing, no permanent storage

Security Measures

  • Encryption in transit: All communication uses HTTPS/TLS
  • Encryption at rest: Firebase encrypts data at rest
  • Authentication: Firebase Authentication with industry-standard security
  • Access control: Strict database security rules (you can only access your own data)
  • Regular security audits: Open source code available for community review

Data Retention

  • Chat history: Stored indefinitely until you delete it
  • Account data: Retained while your account is active
  • Server logs: Retained for 90 days for security purposes, then deleted
  • Voice recordings: Immediately deleted after transcription (not stored)

Your Privacy Rights

Access & Control

You have the right to:

  • Access your data: View all your chat conversations and account information
  • Export your data: Download your chat history in JSON format
  • Delete your data: Permanently delete individual conversations or your entire account
  • Correct your data: Update your display name and account information
  • Withdraw consent: Delete your account at any time

How to Exercise Your Rights

To delete individual conversations:

  1. Log into DMN Chat
  2. Navigate to your chat history
  3. Select the conversation and click "Delete"

To delete your entire account:

  1. Log into DMN Chat
  2. Go to Account Settings
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm deletion (this is permanent and cannot be undone)

To export your data:

  1. Log into DMN Chat
  2. Go to Account Settings
  3. Click "Export Data"
  4. Download JSON file with all your conversations

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Google Firebase

Google Gemini API

  • Purpose: AI responses for DMN Chat
  • Data shared: Your questions (anonymized, not linked to your account)
  • Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
  • Note: Google does not use DMN Chat conversations to train their models

Cloudflare

  • Purpose: Website hosting, CDN, DDoS protection
  • Data shared: Standard web request data (IP, browser info)
  • Privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

GitHub (optional)

We do not control these third-party services. Please review their privacy policies for details on how they handle your data.


Children's Privacy

ClaimFreedom.org and DMN Chat are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@claimfreedom.org and we will delete it immediately.


International Users (GDPR Compliance)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
